Operations Specialist

After finishing her degree in Marketing at Pretoria University, Lisa packed her bags and moved to Cape Town where she completed her Post-Grad in Enterprise Management, this is where she discovered she enjoyed making things happen. She then got her first job working on the Good Food and Wine Show, where she got a glimpse into the events industry.

Lisa loved Cape Town, but decided she needed to gain some International experience. So she moved to London, and got a job working for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, working in various departments and roles. This is where she met ‘TED’.

After four years in London she packed her bags again and returned home, to Cape Town of course. Upon her return, she has worked for the production team that put together the 2011 Annual Loerie Awards show and the Design Indaba Expo 2012. Currently Lisa is working at Cape Town Tourism in the events tourism department.

Lisa believes in experiences and that the only way to learn and grow is to experience it. And that a few bumps and bruises along the way makes for some interesting stories.
